• Account information: if you create an account, your login email and order history.
• Messages you send us through our website, by email, by phone, or by text.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data such as pages visited, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type, and approximate location based on IP address. This is collected through Microsoft Clarity and our hosting provider. See our Cookie Policy.

Payment information:

Online payments are processed by Stripe. In-person payments are processed by Square. We do not see or store your full card number.

• To provide quotes, process orders and repairs, ship products, and provide warranty service.
• To contact you about your order, repair, or inquiry by phone, text, or email.
• To verify module compatibility using your VIN and part numbers.
• To prevent fraud and protect our website.

3. Text Messages

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your quote, order, repair status, payment, or pickup. We do not send marketing texts without your consent. We do not share your phone number or your consent to receive texts with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:

• Stripe (online payments) and Square (in-person payments)
• Shipping carriers (to deliver your order or return your module)
• Postmark (to send order and account emails)
• Microsoft Clarity (website analytics)
• Our website hosting and database provider
• A VIN decoding service (to look up vehicle details from a VIN you enter)
• Google (our business phone and text messaging service)

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

California "Shine the Light": We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

5. Cookies, Do Not Track, and Global Privacy Control

We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, our website does not currently respond to them. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to decline optional analytics cookies.

6. Data Retention

We keep order, invoice, and repair records for up to 7 years to meet tax and business requirements. We keep other information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and then delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We may keep information we are legally required to keep, such as tax records. If you have an account, you can update your information in My Account.

9. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
