Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all products and services provided by PCM Supply, located at 15156 Valley Blvd, La Puente, CA 91746, which operates the website pcmfix.com under the name PCM Fix ("PCM Supply," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, placing an order, or sending us a module, you agree to these Terms.
1. Products
We sell rebuilt, repaired, and reprogrammed automotive control modules (PCM, ECM, TCM, ABS, instrument clusters, and others).
Compatibility is your responsibility. Before ordering, confirm that the part number on your original module matches the part number of the unit you are buying. If you are unsure, contact us with your VIN and original part number before you order, and we will help verify compatibility.
Plug-and-play units. When you send us your original module, we transfer its vehicle-specific data to the replacement unit so it can be installed without additional programming. Units purchased without sending your original module may require programming, key, or immobilizer setup by your technician or dealer, which is not included.
Product photos may be for reference only. For items listed as "Call for Price," the price is confirmed before your order is placed.
2. Repair Services
How it works: Submit a repair request, then ship or drop off your module. Include your name, phone number, and request number in the box.
Evaluation fee: $200 of every repair is a non-refundable evaluation fee that covers bench testing and processing.
- For repairs paid online, the evaluation fee is included in the price. If we determine your module cannot be repaired, we refund the amount you paid minus $200 and return your module.
- For quoted or in-person repairs, a $200 non-refundable deposit is required before work begins and is applied to the final price.
Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Turnaround: Repairs typically take 5–15 business days after we receive your module and payment. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. Some cases require additional testing time.
Unclaimed modules: If a repaired module is not paid for or picked up within 90 days after we notify you that it is ready, it may be disposed of as permitted by California law.
3. Core Charges
Some units are sold with a refundable core charge, which is shown on the product page and added at checkout. The core charge is refunded after we receive and inspect your original module if it:
- arrives within 30 days of delivery of your order;
- has the same part number as the unit you purchased; and
- is complete and has not been damaged by water, fire, or physical impact, or opened by someone else.
Cores that do not meet these conditions are not eligible for a refund.
Core charge refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after inspection.
4. Shipping
You pay shipping costs for all orders. For repairs, you pay shipping both to us and back to you.
Package modules securely in anti-static protection with enough padding. We are not responsible for damage that occurs while a module is in transit to us, and we recommend insuring your shipment.
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the package and the item.
5. All Sales Final — No Returns
All sales of modules and repair services are final. We do not accept returns or give refunds, including for a change of mind, ordering the wrong part number, or vehicle problems unrelated to the module.
Defects are covered only under our Warranty Policy.
Exceptions: if we shipped an item different from what you ordered, or your item arrived damaged in shipping, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.
6. Diagnosis and Installation
You or your technician are responsible for diagnosing that the module is the cause of the vehicle's problem, and for correct installation. Modules must be installed by a qualified technician.
Before installing, your technician should confirm that the vehicle's power, ground, and wiring are correct, and that no shorted components (such as solenoids, injectors, coils, or actuators) are present. Shorted vehicle components can destroy a new or repaired module, and that damage is not covered.
We do not perform performance tuning, and we are not responsible for aftermarket or modified software on your module.
7. Payment and Taxes
Online orders are paid by card through Stripe. In-person payments are accepted in cash or by card through Square. Repairs must be paid in full before the module is returned. Invoices not paid within 30 days may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month.
Prices are in U.S. dollars. California sales tax applies to parts and units sold. Repair labor, programming, and diagnostic services are not taxed.
8. Warranty
Products and repairs are covered by our Warranty Policy.
9. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for all activity under your account.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product or service is limited to the amount you paid for that product or service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including towing, rental vehicles, lost income, loss of use, or labor costs. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. The Terms in effect when you placed your order apply to that order.
